Well, the issue is resolved now, and everything is (so far) working as expected. It just says the machine is not configured for RDP, is not turned on, or does not have network access. No screen comes up at all, like when I connect to the WHS box. I don't seem to be given the option of even entering a user name/password. Turning it back on got the print services back, but the machine still does not show up on the network now-other than using my mapped drives or typing in the server name in the address bar. I was having issues not being able to print, and I went through the little network config (like 7's), and network discovery and some other things were off. Everything works (now), but the machine does not show up on the network. It seems, after I reset some defaults I have a couple more issues.

Everything is plugged into an unmanaged HP Pro Curve switch. There is nothing between my client machines and the server itself. I've tried limiting remote desktop to only the host NIC, and that doesn't seem to make any difference. One is for the host OS, and one is dedicated to Hyper-V. There are two physical NICs in the server.
Both WHS and the host OS have their own specific IP address according to my firewall, though they are not statically assigned. I am connecting to the server(s) with Windows 7-Premium, Ultimate, whichever it's called. The host OS is Server 2008 R2 Standard (圆4). Could that be conflicting? There is only one VM, WHS. Reconnect to the Server via RDP (to a new session) and your performance should be normal.I haven't changed any port numbers for either the host or the VM, so 3389 or the defaults. The hardware could’t be a factor in the issue. We tried different connections (wifi, 4G, LAN, etc.) and different clients (Windows 10 RDP, RoyalTS, Mac-RDP, etc.). We were running several Windows 2012 R2 servers on a VMware ESX environment. And still, we experience a sluggish performance on the Windows 2012R2 server when connection them with any RDP-client.
